The Casol New York to St-Tropez Luxury Tour

New York - French contemporary artist Maryse Casol is honoured to announce the New York to St-Tropez Luxury Tour. Teaming with her son and art dealer Mickael Casol, she will be part of first class solo exhibitions organized in New York City and St-Tropez, France.

Dates and exact locations will soon be released.

Known for her exotic landscapes and blazing still lifes, Maryse Casol will also travel to her Aix en Provence Villa near Montagne Sainte-Victoire where Paul Cezanne painted most of his masterpieces. This is where Casol will create the 2008 collection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

About Maryse Casol
Driven by her love for philosophy and a constant desire for spiritual and mystic transcendence, she studied the thoughts of famous philosophers such as Aristotle, Epictetus, Maimonides, and Spinoza.

Moved by the desire to express the imponderable musicality of emotions, and the persistence of her passionate love for art, Maryse Casol enrolled at the Académie Arts et Beaux-Arts in Varennes, Quebec, where she had the great honour to receive comprehensive training over several years from Sam Aberg, Master, international Art Critic and Art Historian.

Completing her studies with resounding success, she integrated the rhetoric of the compositional aesthetics of art, both classical and modern, with art history, iconographical, semiotic and philosophical concepts. She also took courses in comparative art criticism covering the various movements in painting.

What Casol intends to express in her works, “is not the visible concrete, but the imponderable musicality of emotions and the quintessence of the intangible”.
